Today’s Agenda:
Entertainment Capital of the World - The City of Lights - Sin City - What Happens in Vegas Stays in Vegas......well, not really because I’m going to tell you what happened!
We wake up to 105 degrees and it only goes up from there, eventually reaching around 118 (but it’s a dry heat.) Honestly, it didn’t bother me, I quite enjoyed it.
Since this is one of the last big cities we will be in for awhile and since we are heading back homeward bound, Dan thought it would be a good idea to have the rig oiled, lubed, etc.
So while he did that, I strolled the Vegas strip. We are not gamblers, but I walked through, around, inside and out of almost every casino.
Highlights: (all of them have a theme of some sort, a fantastical lobby and entrance, tons of amazing, trendy, restaurants, shops bars, music, and lighting.) Oh, yeah, and casinos!

-Treasure Island (pirates)
-The Mirage (atrium, waterfalls, Beatles Cirque Du Soliel, Terry Fator Theatre)
-The Forum Shops at Caesar’s (think Gucci, Tiffany’s, Prada, etc. & Fountain of the Gods) Cool nighttime sky above you
-Caesar’s - Lots of columns and Romanesque statues, art, and opulence - two Gordon Ramsey restaurants and other famous chefs

Met up with Dan!
-The Bellagio - more high-end stores, Italian theme, art, flowers, large atrium. Strolled along the Bellagio waterway in front - has water show throughout the day and night (most famously known from the ending of Ocean’s 11.)
-New York, New York -Chrysler building, Statue of Liberty, Brooklyn Bridge, Nathan’s Hot Dogs, Streets of NY, and the Coney Island Roller Coaster
-Excalibur - castles, knights, swords in stones, and the Thunder from Down Under
-Luxor - Egyptian sphinx, Pyramids
-Mandalay Bay - tropical, eclectic vibe

Here, Dan leaves to go pick up rig! I’m alone again on Las Vegas Boulevard.
I cross the street and head northbound on the strip.
-MGM - the largest casino on the strip, and I mean large, like a giant maze inside and easy to get confused! Finally make it out!
-M&M store - think everything possible you can buy with an M&M logo on it and of course lots of the real things to buy and eat!
-Coca Cola store - think everything possible you can buy with the Coke logo on it and of course lots of the “real things” to buy and drink!
-Paris! - Bonjour ! Outside: Arc de Triomphe, Eiffel Tower Inside: outdoor scenes, looks like French shops and cafes along cobble stone streets

Met back up with Dan!
-Dinner at Gordon Ramsay’s Pub & Grill in Caesar’s - excellent dinner!
-Bellagio Nighttime Water Show to the song “Hey, Big Spender!”
-Finished the night with quick walk-thru to Bally’s and Tropicana
Absolutely dead tired so took a Lyft back to base camp at Circus Circus. Hit the pillows hard, even too exhausted to dream! Till tomorrow...
