St. Louis, Missouri - we started our morning early.  We took the Metro-link across the river into Missouri, from East St. Louis, Illinois where we were staying at the Casino River Queen RV park.  We went to the Top of the Gateway Arch. What a view!  We could actually see our house from up there - okay, our temporary house (the rig) from 630 feet high.

We then journeyed to the Anheuser- Busch brewery for a free tour and 4 free beers.  Dan enjoyed all 4!  An amazing tour - and we even saw several Clydesdale horses.
We then traveled to Forest Park (think NYC’s Central Park), complete with Art Museum, History Museum, Theater, and so much green space.

We also happened upon the Grant Farm, where they raise the Clydesdales for Anheuser-Busch.

We drove by Eat-Rite Diner and stopped at the famous Route 66 Ted Drewe’s Frozen Custard.  Dan had vanilla with chocolate syrup and peanuts and said it was the best and thickest, creamiest frozen custard he ever had!  And that’s saying something!

Now off to sleep with the Arch lit up in the distance lulling us to slumber.
